FWC – 2nd January 2008

With huge delays, finally I get to post in 2008. Happy New Year everyone. The past days I’ve been unable to post due to being sick, being drunk, or for simple lack of time. Most likely I’ll keep posting erroneously throughout January/Early February because of stupid RL things like college finals, moving to another country, and so on.

The brown top is actually part of a dress, but I liked it enough to try it with a pair of jeans and it went wonderfully well together in my opinion. It comes from the Liberte store as a regular 0 L$ freebie.

The actual pair of jeans I’m wearing were made by Callie Cline. I believe I got them as part of the Avastar advent calendar though I’m not 100% anymore what action it was. I am pretty certain that it’s no longer available though, sadly, since it’s one of the better freebie jeans I’ve seen around.

The shoes I’m wearing were made by Aphrodite Outlander of Aphrodite Creations. She recentle designed these pumps in 11 colors for sale – this one is available as a gift to her group in the notice archives.

The jewelry I’m wearing is an advent gift that was available a while ago at Reaction Girl. I don’t think the store has any freebies anymore at this moment. Though their prices are still reasonable and they specialise in beach and surf wear. If that’s of interest to you, you might still go check them out.

The skin is the latest of Another Shop, called Lf – first in the f series. As with her other stuff, this one is released Open and Free. You can download the full set of PSDs from her blog. Thanks Eloh, love your stuff ^^ I’ll probably download it myself and might make a make up line for it if I ever find the time to do so. As much as I’m tempted to continue though, I’ll stop talking of this skin and her way of releasing it right now. If I keep talking about this I’ll end up with a novel-length rant on legalese license information and shit. You can read her own blog for more information.

The hair is released by Candy House, a small Japanese store. I really love the Japanese designers in SL. Unlike western “couturiers” they offer their quality stuff at low prices. It shows that it’s not only in the real life Businessworld that the Japanese are lightyears ahead of the individualist/materialist western culture. Anyway, this hair is labeled Christmas gift, so I don’t know how much longer it will be available, I grabbed it two days ago. So hurry up if you really like it.

Lastly, the eyes are part of a Minnu Model group christmas gift. You can find the eyes in the same group notice that I mentioned a few days ago for the men’s skin. The group is called MMSkins.

Total cost of outfit: 0 L$
