Sale season
Atm there are 2 huge sales going on. One at ETD Hair, the other one at Dazzle. ETD sale will last until 26th January, Dazzle sale also until the end of the month I think. Either way, currently both sims are full, and have been full for a day or two. So just chill and try again next week.

If you really can’t wait, do like me. Visit Celestial City or Canimal, two sims that border both ETD and Dazzle, and just move as far as you can until you’re told you can’t go further. Then spawn a chair and something to smoke/eat/drink as you prefer. While you sit down and watch the lemmings bump into the invisible wall over and over, you can shop in all calmth by panning your camera across the sim border.
The ETD sale I believe happens because the entire pricing of the store is going to be changed, and so the sale is here to fill the gap. Regular colorpacks now cost 25 L$, and the combo packs are a lot cheaper also. Overall, the average price is about 80% discount I think.
The Dazzle sale is for a whole other reason. The sim is moving into other hands, with Last Call and Moderno completely disappearing after the sale if I understand correctly. Further than that I won’t go into the whole e-drama, I gave my opinion on that about a month ago already.
From ETD I bought two hairstyles, both in the black colorpack. Jared and Brian are the two I picked. In the end, I decided Brian looks a bit too goofy on Daman. They’re both great hairstyles, Brian just isn’t for me. The one you see me wearing in the pictures is the Jared style. I think it goes absolutely great with the clothes from Moderno.
In the first pic you see me wearing the Antonio style. Striped blue shirt and dark jeans. A jacket is also included but I chose not to put it on for these pictures. As with all of the pants by Moderno, these jeans come with sculpted prim cuffs. So far I’ve never been a fan of prim cuffs, but these are so good that now I can’t be without them anymore. The texturing and shaping are both amazing.
The second picture I’m combining the Orgolio tee with the Ribelle jeans. The outfits put together by the store are already great, but mixing and matching is where things really get fun you know. The Orgolio tee comes packed with a beige cargo pants by default, the Ribelle jeans include a layered/unlayered tee in 5 colors.
Here I’m wearing the Giuseppe jacket with the Cosimo jeans. The jacket normally includes a green cargo pants and a beater. The jeans come with or without belt, and are packaged together with a grey shirt that can be worn tucked or untucked.
On top of the outfits I am showing in the pictures, I also bought the Classico and Cristoforo outfits. From the rack with separate clothing pieces I bought a two-tone blue/grey hoodie. Overall I am pleased with everything I bought in this store.
The sunglasses I’m wearing in the pictures come from SOREAL, and you can expect a review of them tomorrow on Men’s Second Style. The shoes and gloves come from Gearshift, and the cigarette is an old freebie from Animazoo.

Hey, thanks for the tip about shopping from the border, I’ll have to try that! I’ve been to EDT, and the only time you can get in straight away is very first thing in the morning (in my timezone at least). And when you’re there, at its worst, it’s positively lagartasticorific. Really good savings, though!
[...] I ended up at Gaxis Kart Racing first. I knew the place since Kiru dragged me there before when we were hunting for a car. You can also grab a freebie shopping car thing there. It looks like a crossbreed between a golf car and a handicapped person’s electronic wheelchair. Would be interesting to take this thing to the Last Call sale. [...]
